LiKEN is honored to be in partnership with the Lowlander Center to co-facilitate the Disaster Justice Network (DJN). Emerging from the Hurricanes Laura, Delta, Zeta and Ida recovery processes along the Gulf Coast and Delta region, DJN is a volunteer network lending support to share critical information that is not easily accessed for the hurricane recovery processes. The network includes community leaders, faith leaders, advocates, activists, practitioners, researchers, and students weaving together experience and expertise to develop strategies that make communities safer, keep families together, and ensure that everyone has access to resilient recovery.
