Holly Angel serves as the Family Assistance Coordinator at LiKEN Knowledge, where she works directly with heirs’ property owners across Eastern Kentucky through the Appalachian Heirs’ Property Center. In her role, Holly provides free technical assistance, helping families better understand their options, navigate complicated property issues, and connect with resources that can help them hold onto and care for family land. 

Holly was born and raised in Whitley County, Kentucky, home to the Cumberland Falls. Growing up in Southeastern Kentucky, gave her a deep appreciation for the people, communities, and places that make this region home. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010, along with a minor in Political Science. 

Today, Holly lives in Clark County, Kentucky and works from LiKEN’s Winchester office. At the heart of her work is a genuine love for helping people and building relationships within the communities she serves. She is also active in her faith community, where service and caring for others are an important part of her life. Holly is proud to bring her experience and love for the region to this work, helping Appalachian families find a path forward while protecting the land, stories, and connections that have been passed down through generations.
