Angie Lucas

Committed to relationship building that supports collaborative projects and community-centered action, Angie serves primarily as the administrative assistant for the Rising Voices, Changing Coasts project, facilitating cross-sector relationship building and coordination activities.

Her background centers on Tribal energy sovereignty and workforce development, focusing primarily on collaborations that support energy infrastructure development and addressing environmental concerns affecting tribal communities. Her work includes facilitating dialogue between government and tribal leaders, supporting Native energy leadership development, and coordinating research that brings together university-trained scientists and Native knowledge-holders to study environmental impacts on diverse regions.

Angela holds a Master's in Leadership Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Native American Social History from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. She is a PROSCI Certified Change Practitioner with experience in collaborative leadership and cross-sector relationship building.

Angie is an avid photographer who finds inspiration and renewal spending time in the great outdoors. This deep connection to the natural world enriches her understanding of the environmental and cultural stewardship that drives her work.
