Alessandra Jerolleman

Alessandra Jerolleman is a Disaster Resilience and Adaptation Fellow with LiKEN.  She works on projects related to disaster risk reduction and hazard mitigation; community based resilience planning; development of collaborative networks among practitioners; green infrastructure and locally-based, locally-relevant strategies.  She has worked across the United States, but focused primarily on rural communities, small tribal communities and  community-based organizations.

Her disciplinary background is in law, public administration, and the social sciences.  Alessandra is a Peruvian-Italian woman, mother, community advocate and applied scholar who has called Louisiana home for the past twenty years.  She has been partnering with communities in support of disaster recovery, imagining more resilience futures, and climate adaptation for the past two decades.
