Simona Perry
Dr. Simona Perry, LiKEN's Senior Communications Advisor, is the founder of c.a.s.e. Consulting Services, a community-based consultancy located in Savannah, Georgia, working with communities across the United States. An ethnographic practitioner, she specializes in energy and natural resource policy, coastal and watershed community resilience and adaptation, disaster preparedness and response strategies, and the intersection of psychological and cultural change processes.
Simona has served as a Research Scientist in RPI's Science and Technology Studies Program in New York and was awarded a Mellon Post-Doctoral Scholar appointment at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania in 2009. She directed the Biodiversity Education Network, a non-profit international environmental education organization based in Washington, D.C. Additionally, she has worked as a field biologist, environmental regulator, and policy analyst with NOAA/National Marine Fisheries Service in Massachusetts, Seattle, California, and Maryland.
