About the event
FREE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP IN BREAHITT COUNTY, KY
Have you ever heard of silvopasture, or are you already practicing it on your farm? Silvopasture is a way of integrating livestock and trees on agricultural land(s). Often it means adding trees to pastures, but many Appalachian farms already have well developed woods. You can manage these forests to serve as productive and sustainable pastures. To learn more about these methods, come out to our Silvopasture Field Day, a FREE workshop. This event is co-hosted by LiKEN, UK Extension, NRCS, and Understanding Ag!
